About Us
| The CompanySugar Tubes was founded in 2003 by Marco Pronto and Suzanne Rushton in Vancouver, BC. We had our humble beginnings serving coffee shops and restaurants in Vancouver, and we went through a turbulent time growing from an importer of a ready made product to establishing our own printing and packaging facilities in Canada. Entering the custom printing and flexible packaging industry came with a whole new set of challenges especially when we learnt that there was no available technology for printing and packaging stick pack in small quantities or at a viable price.
After trying many new innovations, we invented and developed our own technology in catering to industry demands. Today we are the only
company that can print custom logos for order sizes as small as a single restaurant/coffee shop to large Fortune 500 companies.
We are proud to have grown from our small entrepreneurial beginnings in Vancouver to the development of our own fully integrated factory
offering Sugar Tubes across Canada and into the States.

The Team
| Management
Marco Pronto, based in Toronto, manages Eastern Canada operations and the production plant. Marco has a Bsc (hons) degree and has a long spanning career in developmental consulting with the World Bank and other development agencies. Through his experiences, Marco wanted to be part of a viable solution helpling developing countries through commercial trade (importing Sugar). Marco later became the driving force in the development of printing and packaging technology at Sugar Tubes.
Suzanne Rushton, based in Vancouver, manages Western Canada operations.
Suzanne has a BA in Environmental Geography and has been an integral part in the development of the Sugar Tubes product, including marketing and the day-to-day business administration. Suzanne’s interest in people and sustainability (not to mention coffee) has been a key inspiration and focus on developing an environmentally efficient product. She loves pointing out that Sugar Tubes uses less paper than the conventional pillow-pack sachet and that we offer Organic Sugar.Contact
